Time to Decorate

Originally built to be a chicken barn, the chapel and dining area is one of the most used spaces at the project. As far as buildings go, it is great value for money. It has no walls, no heating, and a concrete floor. The only parts that require maintenance are the columns and the roof.

While the students were off this summer, we started the process of cleaning and treating the wooden beams. Once again our former student Erisvando who has his own painting and decorating business is taking on the work.

Now it is time to decorate. We are grateful to members of Ingatstone Elim Church who have raised the funds for this project and will soon be visiting us. During their time in Brazil, the team will put the final touches to the chapel area, bringing colour to the walls and columns.

Please keep the team in your prayers as they finalize their plans and fundraising over the summer. Let’s pray they have a safe and easy trip from London to Lisbon and Fortaleza. We hope they will form a life-long connection with UNiViDA and be encouraged as they work with the children and staff for 10 days
